Waterproof Fibreglass Casts, Splints, Boots/Walkers, Braces & More

Do you have a fracture and require a waterproof cast, splint or walking boot?

At 20/20 Sports Physiotherapy we provide expert services in fracture management, including:

  • Waterproof fibreglass casts, including backslabs - common fractures that require a cast include the radius &/or ulna, scaphoid, hand, ankle, & foot. We also provide "soft" fibreglass casts, which are waterproof fibreglass casts that are removable, which are useful for young children.

  • Thermoplastic splints - for wrist, hand and finger injuries requiring immobilisation

  • Walking Boots - also called "moon boots" & "cam walkers", these are used for fractures of the ankle &/or foot. Common fractures include the tibia, fibula, ankle joint, metatarsals and navicular

  • Range of Motion Braces - a hinged brace to allow a restricted range of motion to allow an injury to heal, including fractures

Other braces, shoulder slings & immobilisers are available for injuries that are not necessarily a fracture, such as high-grade sprains and strains.
